Ecological Formulas
In response to the growing needs of individuals with food and chemical sensitivities, Ecological Formulas, a subsidiary, was established in 1982. Ecological Formulas was the first company to introduce: Vitamin C from Tapioca, Non-Yeast GTF, Tri-Salts, Caprylic Acid, Butyric Acid, Sorbic Acid and Selenium Cruciferate. Both companies have been responsible for a number of major product introductions: CDP Choline, Lipoic Acid, Monolaurin, Allithiamine, Pantethine, Chondroitin-4-Sulphate, Melatonin Sustained Release, Magnesium Taurate, Serrapeptase, several formulas containing acetylated amino acids, and cyclic nucleotides.
Cardiovascular Research, Ltd. and Ecological Formulas continue to introduce novel formulas, nutrients and fine chemicals. Some recent additions to our Professional Formulary include Cohealon-IB, Uridine, D-Ribose and Claudivastin.
