Pure Encapsulations Heartburn Essentials is formulated with nutrients that support and promote GI integrity. Gamma oryzanol, a substance derived from rice bran, works with autonomic nervous system to support healthy gastric juice secretion, even in times of stress, to support digestion and prevent heartburn due to stress. Plant enzymes, Artichoke and turmeric may work to stimulate and promote digestion as well as prevent gas, indigestion, heartburn and bloating.
DGL (deglycyrrhizinated licorice) slippery elm extract and marshmallow root provide natural support for mucous production which helps build the protective lining of the stomach. They have long been used to soothe the intestinal tract.
